Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. Today, March 23, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, First Deputy Minister Bahromjon Aloev held a meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions from leading Gulf Arab states: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait.

The main topic of the negotiations was strengthening comprehensive relations between Uzbekistan and the Gulf monarchies. Diplomats paid special attention to developing strategic partnership within the framework of the “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” format. The sides noted that this format opens new horizons for economic and investment interaction between the two regions.

During the dialogue, representatives of the Arab states and the leadership of Uzbekistan's Foreign Ministry exchanged views on the most pressing issues of the international agenda. The discussion centered on the situation in the Middle East. The sides confirmed their interest in ensuring stability and security, as well as in seeking peaceful ways to resolve existing regional conflicts.
