The draw for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup took place on May 9 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament will feature 24 teams divided into six groups.
Uzbekistan, coached by Fabio Cannavaro, was placed in Group B alongside Bahrain, North Korea, and Jordan.
Other groups: Group A – Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Palestine; Group C – Iran, UAE, Qatar, India; Group D – Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Syria; Group E – South Korea, Jordan, Vietnam, Lebanon; Group F – China, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkmenistan.
The competition is scheduled from January 7 to February 5, 2027. Matches will be held at eight stadiums in three Saudi cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
