Iran’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Muhammadali Iskandari, presented a detailed analytical report stating that 897 women and children, including 383 children, have been killed and 40,000 people wounded during 40 days of large-scale US and Israeli strikes on Iran.
According to the embassy, massive damage has been inflicted on residential, social, and educational sectors: 123,647 residential buildings, 993 schools and educational centers, 32 universities and research institutions, 22 libraries, and 12 media buildings were damaged. Additionally, 3 radio and television technical centers were targeted.
The healthcare system suffered significant losses: 350 medical centers were hit, 49 ambulances, 3 medical helicopters, and 8 mobile operating rooms were destroyed or disabled. 56 Red Crescent facilities were damaged, with 4 rescuers killed and 61 wounded; medical personnel losses include 36 dead and 118 wounded.
Critical infrastructure was devastated: 15 energy facilities, 27 water and electricity supply enterprises, 5 petrochemical complexes, 58 transport infrastructure objects, and 25 ports were damaged. Airports were attacked 50 times, and 5 passenger and cargo aviation centers were hit. In the commercial sector, 24,450 businesses and 7 large agricultural warehouses were damaged, posing risks to food security.
Historical and cultural heritage also suffered: 149 historical monuments were damaged, 8 of which were completely destroyed. Additionally, 11 religious sites, 42 recreational areas, and 9 sports facilities were hit. Iran views these strikes as violations of international humanitarian law.
Despite the destruction, the ambassador noted an unexpected surge in internal consolidation: about 900,000 Iranians who had previously left voluntarily returned home to support their families. Medical and rescue services operated non-stop thanks to a massive influx of local volunteers.
Iran called on international human rights organizations and the global community to prevent the normalization of attacks on civilians, stating that US and Israeli actions demonstrate Western double standards in human rights protection.
