A pregnant woman and two others were killed in Russian missile strikes on the town of Chuhuiv in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region, according to the regional prosecutor's office. Six people were also injured, and residential buildings and shops were damaged.
In the city of Kharkiv, 16 people, including children, were wounded in a drone attack. Photos shared by officials show a burning building and burnt-out cars.
In the Donetsk region, two people were killed in Bilozerske and Druzhkivka on Monday, while 11 others were injured in Sloviansk and Shabelkivka, said Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk state administration.
The strikes come as Ukraine has intensified long-range drone attacks on Russian oil facilities, causing fuel shortages, while Russia continues large-scale air attacks on Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had a "very positive" phone conversation with US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, expressing gratitude for their readiness to reinvigorate diplomacy to end Russia's war.
Zelenskyy spoke with the envoys on his way back from London, where he met with British, French and German leaders about ending the four-year war. He also had a "substantive" discussion with French President Emmanuel Macron and is preparing for the upcoming G7 summit.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Macron reiterated their "unwavering support" for Ukraine in a joint statement. They discussed coordinating support at upcoming G7, NATO and Coalition of the Willing summits, including further pressure on Russia's war economy and increased military aid.
