Doha – Eight people were injured in Qatar after missile shrapnel landed across the country following an Iranian missile barrage. Qatari authorities reported that 66 missiles were fired, with 114 incidents of falling debris recorded. One of the injured is in serious condition.

The Interior Ministry issued emergency alerts urging the public to avoid military sites, stay indoors, and report any unidentified debris to authorities.

Qatar's Defence Ministry stated it had successfully intercepted a second wave of attacks. The Foreign Ministry condemned Iran's use of ballistic missiles against Qatari territory as "reckless and irresponsible" and a violation of sovereignty.

The missile strikes occurred after US-Israeli attacks on Iran, raising fears of broader regional escalation in the Gulf.
