A military aircraft crashed near the US air base in Spangdahlem, Germany, on Tuesday. Local authorities said the incident occurred at approximately 2:30 pm local time (12:30 UTC). Fire and emergency response teams from the Eifel District of Bitburg-Prüm were dispatched to the scene.

Initial reports indicated that one person was injured. The plane was reportedly a US Air Force aircraft. However, officials have so far declined to provide further details.
