Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces have purportedly achieved strategic advances within the Marib governorate as they press forward with the ongoing military campaign known as the "Dawn of Yemen" operation. This offensive follows significant territorial gains previously secured by the Houthi movement along the country's critical Red Sea coastline.

Rashad al-Alimi, chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, allegedly stated that the primary objective of the operation is to recapture all remaining territories controlled by the Houthis, including the capital city of Sanaa. However, international analysts remain skeptical regarding the actual feasibility and long-term impact of these proclaimed military objectives amid a deeply fragmented and protracted conflict.

Meanwhile, intense fighting and shelling in residential areas of Taiz have resulted in mounting civilian casualties and widespread displacement. Humanitarian organizations and local monitors report severe shortages of fuel, medical supplies, and basic necessities, further aggravating the critical conditions faced by local populations trapped in besieged zones.
