️ U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply rejected the possibility of dialogue with Tehran amid ongoing military escalation. In a statement on the social network Truth Social, the American leader emphasized that the time for diplomatic resolution of the conflict is irrevocably lost due to the critical weakening of the Islamic Republic's defense capabilities.
️ According to Trump, as a result of the strikes, Iran's air and naval forces, air defense system, and senior leadership have effectively ceased to exist. Despite Washington's claims of alleged requests for dialogue from Tehran, the White House responded with a firm refusal. In turn, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani denied information about a request for negotiations, stating that the country does not intend to engage in dialogue with the U.S. under conditions of aggression.
“They want to talk. I said: ‘Too late’,” he wrote.
️ Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi characterized the current situation as a result of the “bitter experience” of past contacts with Washington. He recalled that Tehran has already been attacked twice this year. Previously, the sides held three rounds of consultations on nuclear issues, during which special envoy Stephen Whitcoff offered Iran nuclear fuel supplies over 10 years in exchange for a complete abandonment of uranium enrichment.
️ A representative of Iran's foreign policy department, Ismail Baghaei, categorically rejected accusations of preparing to create nuclear weapons. According to him, at the time of the attacks, Tehran was not engaged in uranium enrichment, and Western intelligence claims about the country's proximity to obtaining an atomic bomb are false. Nevertheless, the White House insists on continuing the military operation until all set tasks are fully completed.
