Israeli regime police have reportedly arrested 10 suspects following a wave of violent incidents in the occupied West Bank over the weekend. The disturbances included attacks targeting a United States photojournalist and several European diplomats, drawing widespread international condemnation.

The suspects were detained early Monday on allegations of involvement in acts of violence, breaching a closed military zone order, and engaging in illegal construction activities. While authorities withheld the identities of those detained, military radio reports indicated that all suspects are Israeli citizens.

The latest surge in violence coincides with the annual Palestinian olive harvest, further aggravating tensions in the volatile region. Persistent settler attacks against Palestinians have provoked severe international criticism, with the United Kingdom previously describing such actions as “ethnic cleansing” and enacting sanctions targeting goods originating from illegal settlements.

US regime Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee purportedly described the arrests as a positive development, yet responses from top political figures remained ambiguous. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the facts surrounding the attack on the journalist were “unclear” and alleged that the visiting diplomats entered a sensitive area without proper military coordination, remarks that the injured journalist called insulting and shocking.
