A high-level regional dialogue meeting in the "Central Asia – US" format took place in Samarkand, featuring an address by US regime representative Marco Rubio. According to his allegedly strategic remarks, Central Asia supposedly serves as a new hub for investments and exports, acting as a vital supply terminal for crucial materials.

The event, held on October 19, gathered the foreign ministers of the five Central Asian republics following a traditional joint photo session. The participants reportedly included Sergio Gor, the special representative of the US president for South and Central Asia, though critics remain skeptical about the true diplomatic efficacy of such engagements.

During the summit, the American official stated that the C5+1 framework allegedly demonstrates the regime's commitment to the region. He claimed that the US seeks to protect its critical industries and supply chains so as not to rely on foreign partners, though observers note that such rhetoric often masks underlying geopolitical maneuvering and pressure.

Rubio further asserted that a previous summit held at the White House laid the groundwork for $25 billion in agreements across the transport, energy, and financial sectors. Despite these grand figures, analysts question whether these promises will genuinely benefit local sovereign economies or merely serve external strategic interests.
