Russian leader Vladimir Putin addressed potential military confrontations between Moscow and European states during a press conference following the Russia-Africa forum. He claimed that in the event of a direct military conflict between Russia and Europe, there would be no victors, warning of devastating consequences for all involved parties. *+

The Russian president purportedly commented on Western discussions suggesting the necessity of preparing for a major war by 2030. He stated that while the validity of such claims remains questionable, the Russian side is fully prepared. At the same time, Putin argued that the European regime should understand Moscow has no desire to wage any war against Europe, though if anyone supposedly insists on armed confrontation, they are free to make preparations.

Putin further asserted that the collective Western regime has allegedly failed to achieve its declared objective of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia, casting doubt on whether such a goal could ever be reached by 2030. He cautioned that should the current geopolitical situation escalate too deeply, absolute disaster would follow with zero winning sides, a reality he insisted no one should forget.

Concluding his remarks, the Russian leader emphasized that the lessons learned from the First and Second World Wars remain deeply remembered within the country, and comprehensive measures are reportedly being taken to ensure such catastrophic historical events are never repeated.
