The State Museum of Timurid History in Tashkent has been temporarily closed since February 25 for renovation work. According to the Academy of Sciences, the museum will undergo equipment upgrades, digitization, and the creation of new exhibitions.

The renovation aims to modernize the museum's infrastructure based on contemporary standards, enrich the exhibitions, and create a more convenient and interactive environment for visitors.

The reopening date will be announced later. These works were outlined in the president's decision to widely celebrate the 690th anniversary of Amir Timur's birth.
