President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev handed over copies of unique archival materials to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a meeting in Bukhara, as reported by the press service of the Uzbek president. The materials, discovered in Uzbekistan, include valuable documents, drawings, and photographs from the 1920s to 1950s, related to the mausoleums of Khoja Ahmad Yasawi and Robiya Sultanbegim, the daughter of Mirzo Ulugbek, located in Turkistan (Kazakhstan).

Most of these archival materials have not been previously introduced into scientific circulation and are said to hold significant historical and scientific importance. President Mirziyoyev emphasized that these documents play a crucial role in highlighting the shared cultural heritage of Central Asian peoples. The mausoleums of Ahmad Yasawi and Robiya Sultanbegim are considered unique architectural monuments, occupying a special place in the region's history.

This event serves to strengthen cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The handover process demonstrates the commitment of the two countries' leaders to preserving and studying historical heritage. In the future, these documents are expected to be widely used in academic research and cultural projects, which will further enhance regional collaboration and mutual understanding.
