Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. A citizen wanted internationally for large-scale fraud has been extradited from Georgia to Uzbekistan. The operation was carried out by officers of the National Central Bureau of Interpol.

The search for the suspect was initiated by the Uzbek side through Interpol channels to bring him to justice for financial crimes. His location was identified in Tbilisi thanks to continuous information exchange and coordination between Uzbekistan's NCB and Georgian counterparts.

After Georgia's Ministry of Justice approved the request from Uzbekistan's Prosecutor General's Office, the suspect was handed over to a convoy. He has now been brought to Tashkent and is in the custody of investigative authorities for further procedural actions.
