On July 15 at 11:16 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 occurred in Kyrgyzstan. According to the Republican Center for Seismological Monitoring, the epicenter was located in the Batken region at a depth of 5 km.
The tremors were also felt in Uzbekistan, particularly in the Fergana district, where the intensity reached 2–3 points. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 265 km to the southeast.
Seismologists reported the epicenter coordinates as 39.89° north latitude and 71.78° east longitude.
