The Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on charges of a terrorist act. The attack also led to restrictions on transport infrastructure. Overnight, Rosaviatsiya temporarily suspended the arrival and departure of aircraft at Nizhnekamsk and Bugulma airports.
