According to the Andijan Regional Department of Internal Affairs, five individuals have been detained in connection with a vigilante attack, where a 35-year-old woman targeted a 28-year-old woman. The incident occurred on December 25, 2025, with the suspect accusing the second woman of having a romantic relationship with her husband and planning revenge.

Reports indicate that the 35-year-old woman brought three female acquaintances to the hospital where the second woman was receiving treatment, subjected her to various humiliating acts, and recorded the process on video. She then summoned two male acquaintances to the hospital, instructing them to take the second woman to a secluded location and shave her head.

Subsequently, against her will, the woman was forced into a car by five individuals and taken to a remote area in the Jevachi neighborhood of Andijan District. There, her hair was shaved off with clippers, and this process was also recorded and disseminated on social media.

In response to the incident, the investigative department under the Coordination Office of Internal Affairs in Andijan City has initiated a criminal case under Part 2, Clause "v" of Article 137 of the Criminal Code (kidnapping by a group of persons with prior conspiracy). Five suspects have been detained in accordance with procedural norms, and preliminary investigative actions are currently underway.

The criminal case has been placed under special supervision by the regional prosecutor's office, highlighting the severity of violence and vigilante justice issues in society. Law enforcement agencies continue to implement strict measures against such serious crimes.
