According to the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), a criminal case has been initiated following a serious crime committed by a 27-year-old man in the capital's center. The incident occurred on March 26 during the afternoon on Niyozbek Street, where the man deliberately struck his ex-wife and three other individuals with a Tracker vehicle. Surveillance footage shows an altercation between two men prior to the attack, after which the car was used in the assault.

Official reports indicate that the ex-wife and an acquaintance sustained minor bodily injuries and were hospitalized as a result of the attack. The footage reveals that the car's hood was dented, the windshield was shattered, and bloodstains were visible. This event caused panic among pedestrians, with several people being thrown by the impact of the vehicle.

The Yunusabad District Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case under Articles 25, 97 (Attempted Intentional Murder) and 277 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. The Tashkent City DIA has promised a comprehensive and impartial investigation, along with a lawful decision. The criminal case has been placed under the supervision of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, DIA, and prosecutor's office, highlighting the severity of the incident.

This case underscores ongoing concerns about crime and safety in Tashkent. While local residents have expressed increased anxiety, authorities have pledged swift action. The incident remains under detailed investigation, but such situations point to the need for enhanced measures to maintain public order in the city.
