On April 1, in the afternoon, all residents were evacuated as a precaution after the danger was identified. An eyewitness told Kun.uz, "No one lives there now. Those who have the means have rented other accommodations, while the rest have been placed in dormitories." The incident has caused significant disruption and anxiety among the local community, who are now awaiting official assessments and solutions.

The press service of the Syrdarya Regional Hokimiyat confirmed the incident, stating that people were evacuated as a precautionary measure pending the completion of an expert examination.
