Angelina Jolie was born on June 4, 1975, in Los Angeles, USA. Inspired by her parents, she showed interest in cinema from childhood and made her film debut in 1982 in "Lookin' to Get Out."

She began her professional acting career 10 years later, in 1993, with the film "Cyborg 2." In 1995, she played her first leading role in "Hackers."

For her performance in "Girl, Interrupted" (1999), she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

She gained worldwide fame as Lara Croft in 2001 and starred in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" (2005). She also achieved success in films such as "Wanted," "The Tourist," "Salt," "Maleficent," and "Maria."
