A video circulating on social media shows the detention of foreigners in a Moscow hostel. It turned out that the footage captured a raid, after which 32 people were taken to police, including seven Uzbek citizens. Six of them were released, while another was decided to be deported from Russia for violating migration laws.

The Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this to a Podrobno.uz correspondent. The raid took place in a hostel on the territory of the SNT "Kommunarka-1". All detainees were taken to the Russian "Kommunarsky" police department. Among them, besides Uzbek citizens, were citizens of Tajikistan.

After the video appeared, representatives of the Uzbek embassy and the Migration Agency went to the police station to clarify the circumstances. In the footage, one of the detainees says he has been there for about a day and complains about the treatment of foreigners by law enforcement officers.

After negotiations with the Russian side, six Uzbek citizens were released. Another was decided to be expelled from Russia due to violation of migration legislation.

At the same time, information spread on social networks about the death of one of the detainees at the police station was not confirmed.
