️ Uzbek diplomats are providing assistance to compatriots stranded in Qatar. Staff from the Uzbek embassy in Qatar helped secure accommodation for citizens stuck in Doha. Through coordination with tourism organizations, temporary housing has been arranged for 91 individuals who found themselves in a difficult situation.

️ Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Qatar, Ashraf Khodjaev, visited Doha Port on March 4 and met with 71 Uzbek nationals aboard the cruise ship Celestine cruises. Diplomats briefed them on the current situation, noting that the Uzbek government, in collaboration with Qatari authorities, is developing mechanisms to ensure their safety and subsequent repatriation.

️ Additionally, diplomats visited the Grand Regal, Hampton, Jouri Al Murwab, and Retaj Al Rayyan hotels to gather accurate information about Uzbek citizens staying there. Currently, Qatar's airspace remains closed, and foreign tourists are awaiting official updates on the evolving situation.

️ Previously, it was reported that 5,183 citizens, who were unable to leave Middle Eastern countries due to the sudden closure of airspace, have been repatriated to Uzbekistan since February 28. This incident highlights the broader challenges posed by regional instability and logistical disruptions affecting civilian travel and safety.
