In Tashkent, a public auction has been announced for the sale of a major state-owned administrative property. The two-story building of the Bektemir District hokimiyat (administration) with an extensive adjacent land plot has been listed for sale on the electronic trading platform E-auksion. This object offers private investors ready-made infrastructure in an industrially developing area of the city.

According to the lot's technical specifications, the total land area is 83 ares (approximately 0.83 hectares), and the building area is 2,998 square meters. The starting price for the state asset has been set at 40.1 billion Uzbek soums. This price reflects the building's broad potential and strategic location.

A key condition of the deal is the vacating period for the object. After the auction concludes and ownership rights are formalized, the buyer will be able to fully take possession and begin using the building only after 1 year. This period is allocated for the relocation of the district administration to new premises.

The event highlights Tashkent's economic development and state property privatization processes. This sale is viewed as part of a broader policy aimed at modernizing urban infrastructure and attracting investment, though it raises questions about the immediate usability for investors due to the one-year delay.
