The government of Uzbekistan has delivered humanitarian aid to the Iranian people through Turkmenistan using several trucks, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The cargo included food items such as flour, rice, sugar, pasta, sunflower oil, canned goods, as well as medicines and medical supplies, aimed at addressing the specific needs of the Iranian population.

The handover ceremony for the humanitarian aid took place in the Iranian city of Daregaz, with participation from Iranian officials including Daregaz Governor Mujtaba Bazmara, the head of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Khorasan Razavi Province, advisor to the minister Ali Masumifar, and Iran's Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbahani. Representing Uzbekistan, Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ravshanbek Alimov attended the event, highlighting the diplomatic cooperation between the two nations.

Iranian officials expressed gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for the humanitarian assistance and attention shown to the Iranian people. They emphasized that this initiative is an expression of the traditions of friendship, solidarity, and mutual support between the two countries, noted as a significant aspect of regional cooperation.

This aid delivery is part of Uzbekistan's efforts to expand humanitarian activities in the region and may serve to strengthen economic and political ties with Iran. However, the long-term impact of this initiative and its ability to address Iran's internal challenges remain uncertain, given the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the area.
