The Ministry of Transport has announced the organization of additional bus services from Tashkent to various regions in anticipation of the Navruz and Ramadan Eid holidays. These measures are implemented to accommodate the expected surge in passenger traffic during the extra holidays declared for the celebrations, aiming to meet the increased demand for transportation.

According to the ministry, in addition to regular routes, over 70 extra buses are operating daily from the Tashkent bus terminal on intercity directions. The services cover numerous cities and districts, including Zomin, Samarkand, Jarqo‘rg‘on, Bukhara, Qorako‘l, Mirbozor, Navoiy, Jo‘sh, Nurota, Zarmitan, Zarafshon, Xatirchi, Qiziltepa, Konimex, Uchquduq, Kadan, Payariq, Shahrisabz, Qarshi, G‘uzor, Sherobod, Termiz, Denov, Uzun, Urganch, Xiva, Gurlan, To‘rtko‘l, and Nukus.

The ministry emphasized that the additional trips will be arranged continuously based on demand levels. To coordinate and monitor the processes, an operational headquarters has been established at the Tashkent bus terminal under the instruction of the Transport Minister, tasked with overseeing passenger movements and implementing necessary adjustments as needed.

Passengers can check the schedule and ticket prices on the official pages of the Tashkent bus terminal. Tickets are available for purchase at terminal counters or through the UzBus mobile app online. Additionally, for reference, due to the Ramadan Eid and Navruz holidays, employees with a five-day workweek will have days off on March 20-23, while those with a six-day workweek will rest on March 20-22.

Previously, it was reported that starting March 23, a new bus route will be launched between the Mashinasozlar metro station in Tashkent and the town of Chorvoq. The travel time on this route is 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a fare of 25,000 soums, reflecting further efforts to expand transport infrastructure during the holiday season.
