A scandal has erupted at School No. 22 in Angren, Uzbekistan, where parents have accused a primary school teacher of abusive behavior towards second-grade students. A four-hour audio recording circulating online allegedly captures the teacher using profanity and threats against the children, with reports also indicating physical assaults.

Video blogger Saodat Abduzakirova detailed the situation on her Instagram page, stating that the recording was made using a hidden dictaphone in one student's backpack. Citing accounts from parents, the blogger claimed that such mistreatment had persisted for two years, suggesting a pattern of neglect within the educational institution.

Parents provided photographs showing children with bruises and abrasions to substantiate the allegations. Additionally, one child was reportedly hospitalized with a concussion. The teacher has already submitted a resignation letter, but parents and public activists are demanding a prosecutor's investigation and legal accountability, highlighting broader concerns about teacher conduct and oversight in Uzbekistan's school system.

A correspondent from Podrobno.uz has sent an inquiry to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan to clarify the details of the incident. This case underscores ongoing challenges in ensuring child safety and professional standards in the country's educational framework.
