Mobile operator Mobiuz has introduced a new tariff line called ORZU to the market. This line targets a broad audience, ranging from active social media users to families with children. ORZU covers multiple expense categories – messaging apps are unlimited, calls are not counted, and internet is provided in such volume that users need not worry about it until the end of the month. Essentially, it offers corporate-level capabilities at the price of a standard tariff.
The flagship of the line – ORZU 150 – offers 400 GB of mobile data per month. For those who need less, options include ORZU 110 (250 GB) and ORZU 90 (180 GB). All three tariff plans include Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, and Facebook Messenger in unlimited mode, with traffic from these messaging apps and social networks not counted at all.
Calls are also unlimited: any ORZU subscriber can talk as much as needed across Uzbekistan, plus send up to 5,000 SMS per month. There are no bundled minutes or restrictions like “12 minutes left until the end of the month.” Each tariff includes subscriptions to MobiMusic and MobiTV – offering tens of thousands of tracks and dozens of TV channels with a movie archive. For instance, ORZU 150 subscribers gain access to sports channels, including OneFC and Setanta Sports.
On all ORZU tariffs, parents receive free access to the Kids Security service. This service turns a parent’s phone into a real control tool: it can restrict access to undesirable websites, track a child’s location, and set time limits for internet use. Lola Filatova, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales at Mobiuz, stated: “400 gigabytes is not a marketing gimmick; it’s a response to the real demand of our subscribers and the realization of their dream. ORZU is about tariffs where everything is already included: connectivity, content, and safety for children. We give subscribers not just gigabytes, but real peace of mind.”
The launch of ORZU signals the direction in which the mobile communications market in Uzbekistan is moving. Three years ago, 10 GB was considered a generous package; today, the benchmark is 400 GB. Competition for subscribers is shifting from the plane of price to the plane of value: who offers more for the same money. Connection to any ORZU tariff is available at company offices, dealer sales points, and in the Mobiuz mobile app.
