The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced that on Sunday, April 5th, despite it being a day off, a number of commercial banks will continue to serve the public. This decision was made to ensure uninterrupted access to financial services for citizens and visitors to the country.
On this day, specific currency exchange points and international money transfer offices will be open at 20 banks across the country. The list includes: Agrobank, Apex Bank, National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU), Tenge Bank, Hamkorbank, Anorbank, Garant Bank, Hayot Bank, Asakabank, Universal Bank, Uzpromstroybank, Trustbank, Ipoteka Bank, Saderat Bank, InfinBank, Asia Alliance Bank, BRB, Ipak Yo‘li Bank, MK Bank, and Kapitalbank.
In addition to cash operations, the regulator reminds of the availability of remote services. Currency exchange transactions can be conducted 24/7 through the mobile applications of commercial banks. Furthermore, automated ATMs for cash currency exchange continue to operate around the clock throughout the republic.
