The government of Uzbekistan has implemented discounts for teachers on services related to cadastre, utility connections, certification, apostille, and other state services. According to Cabinet of Ministers Decree No. 175 dated April 16, 2026, amendments have been made to certain government resolutions, reducing the cost of these services to 50% of the total price for educators working in the field of education under employment contracts.
The decree also mandates that directors and deputy directors of specialized schools and boarding schools must undergo management training courses organized by the Ministry of Culture once every five years, with time off from work. This measure aims to regularly update the managerial skills of school leaders to enhance educational administration.
Additionally, the decree establishes procedures for the expulsion of students from specialized schools and boarding schools, as well as their transfer to other specializations or educational institutions. These changes are part of ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency of the education system and strengthen human resource development in Uzbekistan.
