According to state statistics data, cotton production increased by 15% compared to the previous year, a result attributed to the government's agricultural policies and technological upgrades. However, experts emphasize that this growth is accompanied by issues such as water scarcity, climate change, and the low-wage labor of agricultural workers.

The record level of cotton harvest has positively impacted Uzbekistan's economy, as cotton is one of the country's key export products. Government leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev praised this achievement as a result of policies aimed at "modernizing agriculture and supporting farmers." However, the implementation process depends on financial resources and international cooperation, which may pose difficulties.
