The government of Uzbekistan has initiated the implementation of the "Youth of New Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy, covering the period from 2026 to 2030, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the younger generation. The strategy includes measures to provide subsidized mortgage loans to young families, expand educational opportunities, and develop private educational services in remote regions.
Starting from January 1, 2027, young families will be eligible for preferential mortgage loans to purchase housing on the primary market. The state will compensate for part of the interest payments exceeding the Central Bank's base rate. Eligibility for such mortgages is restricted to families where both spouses are under 30 years old and have not owned any real estate within the last three years.
Another key aspect of the strategy focuses on educational improvements. By July 1, 2026, top instructors from non-state educational centers will be sent for internships at foreign educational institutions. Additionally, to foster private educational services in remote areas, interest-free loans of up to 730 BMR (approximately 300.7 million soums) will be allocated for expansion activities.
It is worth noting that since April 20, applications have been accepted for mortgage subsidies for teachers. These initiatives form part of a comprehensive program designed to improve housing conditions for youth and elevate the quality of education across the country.
