Tashkent, Uzbekistan – AN Podrobno.uz. Situational analysis centers that enable real-time monitoring of infrastructure, landscaping, and social processes will become a mandatory management tool in Uzbekistan's regions. The successful implementation of the 'Smart District' platform in Tashkent's Mirzo-Ulugbek district has been recognized as a model and recommended for widespread adoption.
A detailed study of this system was the key topic at a video conference meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The day before, the head of state personally familiarized himself with the center's operations, and today all regional governors visited the district to see the digital platform in action, assess the renovation of mahallas, and the progress of construction. The president instructed that within a week, a training seminar be held for heads of law enforcement and economic blocs in all regions — prosecutors, heads of internal affairs, state security, and tax authorities — so that digital data analysis methods become a unified standard across the country.
Regional leaders have been given a strict task: within two months, launch similar situational analysis centers in all regional capitals and major cities of Uzbekistan. The new system should eliminate manual management and become the foundation for prompt decision-making based on transparent monitoring of the situation in each mahalla.
At the conclusion of the meeting, reports were heard from ministers, industry leaders, and governors on the implementation of tasks for the first quarter. The head of state emphasized that digital transformation is not just about installing screens, but a real tool for reducing costs and improving the quality of life for the population, for which local leaders will bear personal responsibility.
