Tashkent, Uzbekistan – AN Podrobno.uz. Personnel changes have taken place at the Agency for Atomic Energy under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan. Shakhzod Alirizaev has been appointed as acting deputy director.
He assumed his new duties on April 24. Prior to this appointment, Alirizaev served as deputy chairman of the board of Uzbekneftegaz, where he oversaw localization, industrial cooperation, and IT development.
The agency noted that his experience and professional competencies will contribute to the further development of the country's nuclear energy sector. The agency's staff congratulated Alirizaev on his appointment and wished him success and fruitful work.
