On May 1, another group of Uzbek citizens deported from the United States for violating immigration laws arrived in Tashkent.

According to the 'Dunyo' news agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the flight carried 26 Uzbek nationals. As with previous deportations, the flight was operated by the US charter airline Omni Air International.

The aircraft departed on April 29 at 19:08 local time from El Paso, Texas, near the US-Mexico border. It made several intermediate stops in Baltimore (USA), Jasionka (Poland), Chisinau (Moldova), Bucharest (Romania), and Yerevan (Armenia).

The plane landed in Tashkent on May 1 at 18:09. The total travel time for the Uzbek citizens was 36 hours.

The 'Dunyo' report stated that the repatriation operation was the result of 'coordinated cooperation between the competent authorities of Uzbekistan and the United States.' 'All organizational and legal procedures, including identification of citizens, documentation, and ensuring safe transportation, were promptly agreed upon.'

In January, 44 Uzbek citizens were deported from the US on the same airline (reportedly the 11th such flight since Donald Trump took office a year earlier), and in March, 65 people were returned.
