President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on stabilizing industrial enterprises and addressing problematic issues faced by entrepreneurs, the presidential press service reported.

The package of proposals highlighted digitalization and reducing the cost of banking services. Specifically, it suggested introducing fee-free transfers between individuals' own bank cards.

Additionally, the proposal calls for revising costs of anti-fraud SMS notifications for card transaction security, replacing them with alternatives like in-app notifications or biometric identification.

The president stressed the need to simplify control and regulation mechanisms, turning digitalization into a tool that creates convenience rather than an extra burden for businesses.

Currently, standard commission rates for most banks and payment apps (Uzum, Payme, Click, etc.) range from 0.5% to 1%. Transfers between cards from different banks may incur fees of around 0.35%–0.5%.

However, banks have recently introduced free limits to attract customers. For instance, many apps allow fee-free transfers of up to 3–10 million soums per month.
