A delegation from Uzbekistan is set to participate in the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), scheduled to take place from June 3 to 6. The announcement followed a meeting in Moscow between Russian Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov and Uzbek Ambassador Botirjon Asadov.
The parties discussed Uzbekistan's participation in the forum and prospects for expanding business cooperation. Special attention was given to organizing a “Russia – Uzbekistan” business dialogue within the SPIEF framework.
Ambassador Asadov emphasized that the forum is a prestigious international platform where participants from around the world can learn about Uzbekistan's key projects and investment potential.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan is digitizing its foreign investment attraction processes. Artificial intelligence technologies are planned to be used for market analysis and selecting the most promising projects. This is expected to not only accelerate capital inflow but also enable pinpointing locations for new production facilities based on real demand and resource availability.
