In the Tashkent region, a fire broke out early on May 12 in an Isuzu truck traveling on the A-373 highway connecting Tashkent and Osh.

According to the regional traffic safety department and emergency management authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 05:00 local time on the 91st kilometer of the highway, near the "8 Marta" industrial zone in the city of Angren.

Preliminary reports indicate that the truck was driven by a 41-year-old driver. During transit, a fire ignited in the cargo compartment, partially destroying the vehicle.

The fire department received the alert at 05:13, with rescue units arriving at the scene at 05:22. The blaze was fully extinguished by 05:33. No injuries were reported.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the material damage.
