The Tashkent city administration has provided more detailed information about the work at the 'Aviasozlar' market, commonly known as 'Kadisheva'. City officials officially stated that the market is operating normally and the ongoing work does not affect legally operating facilities.
It turned out that some individuals were selling food products without permits and in violation of sanitary standards, posing risks to consumer health. Additionally, spontaneously organized rows hindered traffic, obstructed pedestrians, and caused chaotic parking and traffic jams.
Those trading in the area have been offered alternative legal spots directly within the market, where necessary conditions for entrepreneurs and buyers have been created. After the site cleanup is completed, landscaping and greening are planned, along with the organization of official parking spaces.
Earlier, social media circulated reports about the possible demolition of the 'Kadisheva' market in Tashkent, accompanied by videos of structure dismantling in the vegetable section. However, authorities denied the liquidation of the shopping complex, explaining the situation as a restoration of order. The Yashnobod district administration clarified that work is underway to restore order and dismantle spontaneous trading facilities in the area adjacent to the market.
