Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. Employees of the Directorate for the Operation of Buildings and Structures of the Bunyodkor Stadium have had their wage arrears fully paid off following intervention by the State Labor Inspectorate.

According to the agency, 49 workers had not received salaries for several months. The total debt amounted to 867 million soms. After an inspection, the labor inspectorate issued a written order to the enterprise, on the basis of which the debt to employees was fully repaid.

Currently, there is no wage arrears owed to the enterprise's workers.

The situation arose amid financial problems at FC Bunyodkor. Earlier, the club's long-time sponsor, Uzbekneftegaz, announced it would stop funding the football project, leaving the team to play the current season without sponsorship support.
