Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. A new warehouse complex for Uzbek goods has started operations in the port zone of Riga, Latvia, serving as a key distribution hub for Uzbek products entering the Baltic and European markets.

The project was implemented with support from the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, the company Savdoni rivojlantirish kompaniyasi, and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia. The facility is equipped with modern storage, processing, and labeling capabilities, and includes showrooms for product presentations.

During the opening, B2B meetings were held with the participation of about 20 Uzbek exporters, logistics companies, and business representatives from both countries. Participants discussed prospects for expanding supplies and established direct contacts.

Additionally, a retail outlet under the Uzbek Bazar brand has opened at the Central Market of Riga, offering Uzbek food products to local customers and tourists.

The new infrastructure is expected to significantly increase export volumes, diversify supply routes, and strengthen the position of Uzbek producers in the European Union market.

Earlier, Uzbekistan opened a national pavilion called Made in Uzbekistan in Iraq, covering an area of one thousand square meters.
