Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. The Traffic Safety Service has issued an appeal to school graduates and their parents ahead of the 'Last Bell' holiday events.

The agency reported that large-scale promotional and raid activities are being conducted across the republic to prevent road traffic accidents involving minors.

The reason for the tightened control is the recent increase in cases where students drive cars without a driver's license, leading to severe road accidents.

In its appeal to graduates, the service urged young people not to drive without legal grounds, noting that the lack of sufficient knowledge, skills, and driving rights endangers their lives on the roads.

Simultaneously, the Traffic Safety Service strongly urged parents not to hand over car keys to their children. The agency emphasized that trying to please a child on a holiday could turn into a tragedy and cause irreparable harm to their future.

As part of the announced raids, law enforcement officers intend to ensure the inevitability of punishment for every detected case of a minor driving a car.
