Air Quality (AQI)

The first days of the week will bring cooler weather, with short downpours expected on Monday in Tashkent, valley regions, and mountainous areas. On Tuesday and Wednesday, moisture from the Caspian Sea via Turkmenistan will bring precipitation to almost all regions.

Starting Friday, a short warm spell will begin, peaking on Saturday, before giving way to moist air masses again on Sunday. Temperature outlook: Monday up to +35°C in the south, +30…+33°C elsewhere.

Tuesday and Wednesday will see a significant temperature drop due to humidity, with Thursday also cool. From Friday, temperatures will rise, bringing back real late-May heat. On Saturday, May 30, temperatures may reach +41°C in oasis and southern regions.

Before the arrival of moist air, strong winds and dust storms are possible in desert areas during workdays. Particularly heavy rainfall is expected in Tashkent region, increasing the risk of mudflows.

Air quality may deteriorate due to dust early in the week, but rains will quickly clear the atmosphere. It is advisable to review recommendations from the Sanitary-Epidemiological Committee.

Regarding space weather, no strong solar flares have been observed recently, so the risk of geomagnetic storms is low. However, weather-sensitive individuals should rely on two-day forecasts.
