Tashkent, Uzbekistan – AN Podrobno.uz. A supercomputer has once again assessed the chances of the Uzbekistan national football team winning the World Cup. This time, the probability stands at 0.08%. Last year, the analytical system estimated the team's chances at 0.2%.

According to the Opta analytics platform, the team's probability of reaching the final is 0.32%, reaching the semifinals is 1.16%, and reaching the quarterfinals is 3.87%.

The likelihood of advancing from the group stage is 12.76%, while the chance of finishing first in the group is 5.73%.

Earlier, the coaching staff of the Uzbekistan national football team, led by Fabio Cannavaro, announced the final squad for the 2026 World Cup. The head coach's final list includes 30 players. For Uzbekistan, this is the first World Cup in history. The tournament will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
