Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. Rescuers have evacuated an injured tourist from Greater Chimgan Mountain. His condition is now reported as good.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident occurred on May 24 at 2:05 PM in the Bostanlyk district. A group of ten people had climbed the mountain. One of the tourists slipped and sustained an injury.
Rescuers promptly arrived at the scene and provided first aid. The victim was then evacuated from an altitude of approximately 2,300 meters to a safe zone and handed over to ambulance doctors.
Earlier, it was reported that rescuers in the Surkhandarya region rescued a local woman from a natural trap. She had climbed a highland area but fell from a height of 30 meters.
