A strong wind has started in Tashkent. Due to deteriorating weather conditions, the capital's Emergency Situations Department (ESD) has appealed to residents and visitors to strictly observe safety measures.

To prevent possible incidents, rescuers recommend tightly closing windows, doors, attic hatches, and ventilation systems in residential buildings. It is also necessary to check the reliability of structures on balconies and windowsills of multi-story buildings and, if possible, remove all unsecured items from there. During strong gusts of wind, citizens are advised to take shelter inside sturdy buildings or in underground passages.

Department specialists emphasize that during bad weather it is dangerous to stay on the streets near trees and power line poles. It is strictly forbidden to enter damaged buildings, as well as to hide behind billboards and potentially dangerous supports.

Car owners are strongly advised not to leave their vehicles under trees and light structures. In addition, residents are asked to constantly monitor the operation of all household gas appliances.

In case of emergencies or incidents, it is necessary to immediately call the following numbers: 112, 1055 or (55) 515-10-50.
