Saydullo Azimov, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, raised concerns about the service quality in the VIP wagon of the 'Uzbekistan' train traveling to Andijan during a meeting with Transport Minister Ilhom Mahkamov on June 3.

According to the deputy, the primary issue is the extreme heat inside the wagon. He noted that the locomotive is attached too late, causing the wagon to overheat. 'On hot days, people are fanning themselves and struggling to breathe,' he said.

The second problem is the lack of information about which services are included in the VIP ticket price. 'On the Afrosiyob, they provide food, coffee, and water. Here, there is no information about what should be provided,' the deputy stated.

Azimov also highlighted that the air conditioning does not work, seats are broken and unrepaired, and water is barely available and hot in summer. He had sent an inquiry a year ago but received only a general response about sector development.

Transport Minister Ilhom Mahkamov responded that no additional documents or funding are needed to resolve the issues. 'This is a problem that can be fixed in a short time, and it will definitely be done,' the minister said. He promised to start work this week and personally oversee the process.
