A traffic accident occurred on June 9 on the M-37 highway in Pakhtachi District, Samarkand region. Preliminary reports indicate that a 35-year-old Damas driver, attempting to overtake, drove onto an unpaved roadside.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, re-entered the roadway, and collided with a truck. He managed to exit the car on his own and was taken to the hospital with injuries.

A video of the incident has been circulating on social media. It shows the Damas speeding along the roadside in an attempt to pass other vehicles, then losing control and crashing into the truck.

A pre-investigation check is being conducted regarding the accident.
