President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a trip to Namangan region, visited the artificial intelligence laboratory at Namangan State Technical University and familiarized himself with its work.
The laboratory has become a platform for practical training of students: they not only gain theoretical knowledge but also work on real projects using AI technologies. At the same time, the scientific potential of teachers is being strengthened.
The center operates units for analytics, robotics and bionics, a startup accelerator, smart classrooms, and training rooms for mastering AI skills.
The laboratory's task is to develop and implement innovative projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, smart transport, ecology, and agricultural technologies. The president emphasized the need to expand this experience and actively involve youth in the development of key sectors.
Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a large IT park on the territory of the Yangi Namangan town.
