Starting September 1, Uzbekistan will raise the basic calculation value (BCV) by nearly 7%, from 412,000 to 440,000 soums. This adjustment affects taxes, fees, duties, fines, and payments for state services.

Consequently, fines for traffic violations have been updated. Key fines include: - Not wearing a seatbelt – 220,000 soums (previously 206,000); - Missing first-aid kit, vest, fire extinguisher, warning triangle, or technical inspection – 220,000 soums; - Disregarding traffic signs, driving on sidewalks – 220,000 soums; - Driving without documents – 440,000 soums; - Driving without insurance – 440,000 soums; - Running a red light – 1,320,000 soums; - Stopping in a prohibited place – 880,000 soums; - Using a phone while driving – 1,320,000 soums; - Driving without license plates – 2,200,000 soums; - Speeding up to 20 km/h – 440,000 soums; - Speeding 20-40 km/h – 2,200,000 soums; - Speeding over 40 km/h – 3,960,000 soums; - Driving into oncoming traffic – 4,440,000 soums; - Refusing a sobriety test – 6,600,000 soums and license suspension up to 3 years; - Drunk driving – 11,000,000 soums and license suspension up to 3 years; - Operating a vehicle with unauthorized tinted windows – 11,000,000 soums; - Repeated tinting violation within a year – 8,800,000 soums.

The BCV was last raised on August 1, 2025, from 375,000 to 412,000 soums.
