During a trip to Namangan region, the president visited the Navbahor Football Academy, where he inspected the conditions created for training young athletes and the organization of the educational and training process.

Recall that the management of the Navbahor Academy was previously transferred for a three-year term to the Dutch club Ajax, recognized as one of the best football clubs in the world.

As part of the cooperation between the parties, a project is being implemented to create a joint youth football academy. Modern methods of training players and coaches, developed by Ajax specialists, are being introduced here. Currently, foreign coaches and scouts work at the academy, training young footballers based on European standards.

During the visit, the president familiarized himself with the academy's infrastructure, training fields, and conditions created for the students. While communicating with young athletes, he inquired about their achievements, sports goals, and future plans.

Issues of further development of domestic football, improvement of the sports reserve training system, support for talented youth, and increasing the competitiveness of the national team on the international stage were also discussed.
